Phillip Garrido.Who’s Got Their Rights Wrong?

Phillip Garrido, on parole after a rape conviction and a registered sex offender, is accused of kidnapping Jaycee Lee Dugard in 1991. Aged 11 years old Jaycee’s nightmare began outside her home in South Lake Tahoe, California when she was snatched by a women and dragged off in a car. Today Phillip and Nancy Garrido both refute the 29 felony charges leveled against them and await trial.

El Dorado County Jail in Placerville, CA holds Phillip Garrido while he awaits trial. Bill Clark, chief assistant district attorney in El Dorado County, said Garrido has access to television and periodicals in jail and is fully aware of what's going on with his story.

We Now Come To The ‘Latest’ In The Phillip Garrido Case.

Phillip Garrido sent a letter, postmarked September 29th, to Sacramento Television Station KCRA stating that Jaycee Lee Dugard’s rights had been violated. These included her Rights of Free Speech and being repeatedly denied access to an attorney during questioning. Garrido requested them to contact Dugard at the soonest possible date.

Can you believe what you are reading?

So Garrido has the right to follow his story on TV and write to the media and thereby influence his case. By this I mean he can keep the nightmare alive for the Dugard family. Constantly putting his name in their front room. Someone in the family is bound to turn the TV on and hear of this letter. What right does he have to do this? What are we doing letting him?

Its Garrido’s civil rights that we are now looking at. The convict’s rights. Phillip Garrido’s right to TV and thereby keeping up with his story. It appears Phillip Garrido can discuss his case with the media via face to face interviews, telephone calls and by letter. Writing to KCRA and airing his thoughts. Garrido’s thoughts and ideas will soon be in the public eye and he knows this.

The Dugard family are going to see it or hear about the letter and the nature of its contents.
Let’s be very crystal clear about this. The powers that be are condoning Garrido’s rights. His rights to continue his defilement of Jaycee and her family.

We’ve severely let down Jaycee Lee Dugard and her family over the last Eighteen years and we are still letting them down by not protecting them from this monster.

So I ask you who’s sick? Phillip Garrido for standing jointly accused of 29 felony charges, for writing this letter, or for us letting him?

What about our civil rights? Where do the rights of dear Jaycee and her family get considered? What about the victim’s rights? We all have the right to expect protection from scum like him!
