Jaycee Lee Dugard. Our Disturbing Behaviour Must End

Phillip Garrido, on parole after a rape conviction and a registered sex offender, is accused of kidnapping Jaycee Lee Dugard in 1991. Aged 11 years old Jaycee’s torment started near her home in South Lake Tahoe, California when she was kidnapped by a women and dragged off in a car. Phillip and Nancy Garrido are charged with 29 felonies connected to the kidnap and rape of Jaycee Lee Dugard.

El Dorado County Jail in Placerville, CA detains Phillip Garrido while he awaits trial. From the district Attorney’s Office in El Dorado County we are told that Garrido can watch his story unfold on TV and through periodicals.

We Now Come To The ‘Latest’ In The Phillip Garrido Case.

Garrido wrote a letter, postmarked September 29th, to Sacramento Television Station KCRA stating that Jaycee Lee Dugard’s civil rights had been abused. These included her Rights of Free Speech and being repeatedly denied access to an attorney during questioning. Phillip Garrido requested that they contact Dugard at the soonest possible date.

Can you believe what you are reading?

So Garrido has the right to follow his story on TV and write to the media and thereby influence his case. By this I mean he can keep the nightmare alive for the Dugard family. Constantly putting his name in their front room. Someone in the family is bound to turn the TV on and hear of this letter. What right does he have to do this? What are we doing letting him?

What we are looking at here is Phillip Garrido’s rights. The criminal’s rights. Phillip Garrido’s civil right to TV and thereby keeping up with his saga. Garrido has the ability to communicate and air his views and opinions to the media. In this case he posted a letter to the TV company. The Television company will spring at the chance to air its contents and he knows this.

The Dugard family are going to see it or hear about the letter and the nature of its contents.
Let us be very open about this. This is all about Phillip Garrido’s right to continue his abuse and torment of Jaycee Lee Dugard and the whole Dugard family.

We’ve severely let down Jaycee Lee Dugard and her family over the last Eighteen years and we are still letting them down by not safeguarding them from this monster.

So I ask you who’s sick? Phillip Garrido for standing jointly accused of 29 felony charges, for writing this letter, or for us letting him?

Does the powers that be care as much for our civil rights? The rights of the Dugard family and poor Jaycee. What about the victim’s rights? We all have the right to insist on protection from scum like him!
