Phillip Garrido.Who’s Got Their Rights Wrong?

Phillip Garrido, on parole after a rape conviction and a registered sex offender, is accused of kidnapping Jaycee Lee Dugard in 1991. Jaycee’s stepfather looked on helplessly as she was dragged into a vehicle by a woman within sight of her home in South Lake Tahoe, CA. Today Phillip and Nancy Garrido both deny the 29 felony charges leveled against them and await trial.

Phillip Garrido is held in custody at the El Dorado County Jail in Placerville, CA as he and his wife Nancy Garrido await trial. Bill Clark, chief assistant district attorney in El Dorado County, said Garrido can view television and periodicals in jail and knows what's going on with his story.
We Now Come To The ‘Latest’ In The Phillip Garrido Case.

Just two days ago, from his jail cell Garrido wrote a letter to Sacramento Television Station KCRA in which he complained that a number of Jaycee Lee Dugard’s Civil rights had been abused.. These included her Rights of Free Speech and being repeatedly denied access to an attorney during questioning. Phillip Garrido requested that they contact Dugard at the soonest possible date.

Can you believe what you are reading.

So Garrido has the right to follow his story on TV and write to the media and thereby influence his case. By this I mean he can keep the nightmare alive for the Dugard family. Constantly putting his name in their front room. Someone in the family is bound to turn the TV on and hear of this letter. What right does he have to do this? What are we doing letting him?

What we are seeing here is Garrido’s rights. The prisoner’s rights. Liberals have given him the right to follow every facet of his saga as it is reported and unravels on television. Apparently Phillip Garrido can discuss his case with the media via face to face interviews, telephone calls and by letter. In this instance he wrote a letter to the television company. The Television company will grab at the chance to disclose its contents and he knows this.

The Dugard family are bound to see it or hear about the letter and the nature of its contents.
Let us be very clear about this. The powers that be are condoning Garrido’s rights. His rights to continue his defilement of Jaycee and her family.

We’ve severely let down Jaycee Lee Dugard and her family over the last Eighteen years and we are still letting them down by not safeguarding them from this monster.

So I ask you who’s sick? Phillip Garrido for standing jointly accused of 29 felony charges, for writing this letter, or for us letting him?

What about our rights? The civil rights of the Dugard family and poor Jaycee. What about the victim’s rights? What about our rights to protection from animals like Garrido?
